We are living through times of great uncertainty. While the government gradually lifts some of the restrictions put in place to control the spread of Covid-19, we have seen a rise in cases, which worries the population.

The best thing we can do is keep our social distance and go out only when necessary, as established by the Ministry of Health, whether for work, health or shopping.

But when we stay home for a long time , we don't know what else to do, so we decided to write a blog post with recommendations on what to watch, what to read and what to do in your free time.

We know that when it comes to movies, series, documentaries, books, exercise and so on, tastes vary endlessly, so we are going to recommend where you can find whatever best suits your preferences.

When it comes to leisure time spent in front of the TV, we recommend two platforms where you can enjoy series, movies, soap operas, TV shows and documentaries.

The first and best known by everyone is Netflix. With a wide catalog of films, you will enjoy titles that have been praised by critics and even won awards at different ceremonies.

Movies such as Okja, The Two Popes, Roma and Annihilation, among others, each in a different genre, and that is the good thing about these platforms: you can find comedy, drama, thriller and horror films.

In series and telenovelas there is an endless number of productions that cover every taste, as well as documentaries such as Icarus, which gave Netflix its first Oscar, Cowspiracy, Our Planet or What the Health.

The next platform comes from the HBO channel and is called HBO GO. There you can find movies that were big hits when they premiered, as well as new productions with great actors.

One of the standout films is Contagion, which tells how a virus from China infects the world's population. Another notable film is At Eternity's Gate, which brings to life the inner world of the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh.

When it comes to documentaries, HBO GO is not far behind, since one of its most famous is Chernobyl, a miniseries that follows the story of the worst man-made accident in history.

As for literature, we recommend a few websites where you will find books and documents that match your interests, from medicine, health and sports to classic literature and science fiction.

On the 3 websites we recommend in this blog post, you will find public domain publications that you can download and enjoy on your electronic device, whether a computer, tablet or cell phone.

Elejandría.com, with authors such as Cervantes, Shakespeare and Jane Austen, this portal offers around 1,083 books by a total of 218 writers.

Libroteca.net, hosts a huge catalog of more than 55,000 books. You can search by genre, title or author, and the documents are available in different formats such as doc and pdf.

Lastly, probably the best-known site, Amazon Ebooks, is an option for buying books that also offers a great selection of free publications.

What to do?

There is nothing better than keeping your body and mind healthy during quarantine, and our recommendation for what to do with your free time is to work out at home.

You don't need to be an athletic person to follow our recommendation, since exercising lets you release the energy that builds up from staying home.

And for your exercise routines, we recommend two Instagram profiles that keep their followers moving.

The first is called Eat Pray Squat Squad, a blog dedicated to personal training.

Health&Fitness, an account specializing in a healthy lifestyle, whose posts include routines to work out your whole body.

You can no longer say you have nothing to do during quarantine. It is all a matter of adapting our old habits to a new way of life (https://blog.casamaxcr.com/no-renuncies-a-tu-sue%C3%B1o-1
